* Responsible for procurement of Ferro Alloys like Ferro Chrome, Ferro Silicon, Ferro Vanadium, Nickel, Moly Oxide & Import of Graphite Electrodes & Stainless Steel Scrap. These items involves procurement cost of about Rs. 16 – 18 crore per month.
* Above items procuring for plant as well as for trading in domestic market.
* Development of vendors for sourcing of above materials as well as development of customers for sale of above items in the domestic market.
* Looking after clearance of import consignments at ICD, Nagpur.
* Coordination with Custom & CHA for clearance of import consignments.
* Inventory control for better management of funds.
* Updation and presentation of M.I.S. to top management.
* Monthly as well as annual budgeting.
* Correspondence with parties for rate negotiation & maintaining optimum inventory level.
* Well conversant with Import procedures & Excise bi-laws related to purchase.
